Triple Chocolate Kahlua Cake Recipe

Last year I tried a new Kahlua cake recipe, and it was out-of-this-world!  Everyone that got them raved about how amazing they were.  These are total CHOCOLATE OVERLOAD, but oh sooooo yummy!!
Triple Chocolate Kahlua Cake:
1 pkg Devils Food cake mix
1 pkg chocolate fudge instant pudding mix
1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
3/4 cup Kahlua
1/2 cup strong coffee, at room temp
6 oz (1/2 a bag) chocolate morsels

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, mix all ingredients except for chocolate morsels in a bowl. Once well blended, fold in chocolate morsels. Pour in cake pan of your choice (I actually used small bread pans and cupcake pans for the ones I made) and bake at 350 degrees until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. It took about 30 minutes for the small bread pans and about 20 minutes for the cupcake sized ones in my oven. If you use a tube pan it should be about 50 to 60 minutes, or two 9 inch round would be about 40 to 45 minutes.

I'm didn't this following step for my cakes last year as they are being shipped ALL over the place, and I'm afraid that they wouldn't travel well with this last step. But if you are doing them for yourself or for local delivery, I HIGHLY recommend this last step as it makes it AMAZINGLY delish!

Glaze:
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
2 Tbs strong coffee, at room temp
4 Tbs Kahlua

Mix above in a small bowl until smooth. Poke holes in the baked and cooled cake with a small skewer. Pour the sugar mixture over the whole cake allowing it to seep into the holes from the skewers. Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Oh my, this last step makes them out-of-this-world!

You can also just frost the cake with regular chocolate frosting if you'd prefer. That works too!
